Include the app version, device and OS version, steps taken and any displayed message. Remove unnecessary site names, addresses, drawings and prices from screenshots or files you choose to attach.
We use the sender address, message and any optional attachments you email to respond to your inquiry and investigate problems. The app does not automatically email project data or drawings.
Frequently asked questions
- How do I move a project to another device?
- In Save & transfer, choose Save project to file to save the current project as JSON. On the other device, choose Import from file. This is not a backup of the entire project list. Save each project you need and keep the original drawing PDFs separately.
- Saving fails
- Export the current project and verify the destination and contents. Check available device storage. Do not delete or reinstall the app, or reset stored data, before verifying a backup.
- Quantities are unknown or the total is partial
- Check excluded zones, input errors, missing schedule quantities and basis values on imported zones. Correct and recalculate. Do not read an unknown value as zero.
- A PDF will not open or has no dimension candidates
- Check the format, encryption, size, page count and on-screen message. If needed, keep the original and create a separate PDF containing only the required pages. For an image-only drawing, enter verified dimensions manually or measure after calibration.
- I cancelled sharing or printing
- Try again when ready. If you expected a saved file, open the selected destination and verify it.
What the app does
Ashibaya helps you prepare draft material quantities and review stock, shortages, and weights and costs based on your registered values. Dimensions use metric units, weights use kg and costs use Japanese yen (JPY). Changing the language does not convert units or currency.
Results do not certify structural safety or construction compliance. Check the actual site, layout and manufacturer specifications and assembly instructions. Have the responsible designer verify supports, ties, connections, loads and other design conditions.
