Confirm the outline,
then materials and reports.
Confirm the building outline on the drawing and the app lays out faces, clearance and corners together, showing reference quantities with their basis. Workers’ daily reports are recorded on the device only.
Three steps from drawing to material list
- Add a PDF and analyse all pages. Review dimension, height and building-outline candidates from the text layer and line work.
- Check the outline and the faces to scaffold on the drawing. Enter any missing length, height or clearance. Unchecked values are never used for quantities.
- Review material changes and the basis of each quantity, then save. Transfer to the overall plan and update the same zone later.
Daily work report
Record site, name, start, end, break and work done; hours worked are calculated in whole minutes. Regular hours and how a man-day is counted are set per company. The figures are records and do not determine pay or statutory working time.
- To report to your company, review the share text or CSV and hand it over yourself. There is no automatic email or LINE sending, no company LINE account integration and no server storage.
- On the web you copy the share text, use the browser’s share function, or download the CSV. This differs from the share sheet in the iPhone app.
- Daily reports are not part of project JSON. Keep a CSV copy. A CSV cannot be imported into the app to resume editing.
What you can and cannot do
- You can try text-layer and line analysis of PDFs, source checks, reference material lists from an outline, the overall plan, JSON/CSV output and daily reports.
- Apple Vision image and scanned-PDF text recognition is unavailable in a browser. There is no server OCR that uploads drawings.
- Results are reference quantities for what you confirmed on the drawing. Fully automatic takeoff of a whole drawing, real-site accuracy and structural safety are not guaranteed. Corners follow a reference counting convention; check extra material at external corners, internal-corner details and the manufacturer’s configuration on site. Review hold reasons and the basis of each quantity.
Keeping your work
- Storage is separate for 1.3. Nothing is shared automatically with the 1.2 or 1.1 trials, the earlier web edition or the iPhone app.
- Save on the same device and browser, export project JSON and check it. Original drawing PDFs are not inside the JSON; keep them separately and load files explicitly when moving.
- Use without a connection is not guaranteed. Keep exported files in case browser data is cleared or storage runs out.
- If saved data can no longer be opened, retrieve version 1.3 trial data: project JSON, original PDFs and daily-report copies.
Free web edition and the iPhone app
The version 1.3 web edition is available free of charge. Any end to free web access will be announced on this page. Version 1.3 is also available on the App Store. The iPhone app is a separate purchase; check the price and the available version on the App Store. Nothing is purchased or charged on this site. The user guide is always free.

Work saved in the 1.2 trial, the 1.1 trial or the earlier web edition can each be retrieved for free from its own storage. If an old trial tab is still open, save and export JSON in that tab before closing or reloading it. Unsaved input in other tabs is not included in the recovery pages.
